Title: Mueller on a 835
Post by: duckaholic25 on May 01, 2012, 03:08:47 PM
I have the Quick shot mounted on a weaver base on my 835, and had to put a bear tooth comb riser on it to be able to get high enough to see the sight. I am wanting to get a thumbhole stock from mossberg but I am scared that it will still be too low to see through the sight. Is there another base that might solve my problems.

Nope, to solve the problem you would need to get a FF III.

Here is mine

Caution the back of these sights have a camo plastic cover held in place by 4 tiny screws from the bottom. If you hit them solid they break away. Its the V-shaped projector cover. It will still hold zero but they arent durable. I have one on an 1100 and one on a 935. Both broke the same week! Black electrical tape now holds them in place. LOL Send for a replacement now so when they go you can fix em same day. :funnyturkey:
