Title: Kansas and Missouri Longbeards
Post by: Spring Creek Calls on April 30, 2012, 12:28:20 PM
Just returned this morning from my hunt to KS and MO. Spent nearly a week in each state and was fortunate to shoot a longbeard in each. We saw low temps  in the high 20's in MO to high temps in the mid 90's in KS. I'll now have to go thru withdrawal before my Michigan season opens on 5/7.

Your situation is why I now choose the late hunt here in MI. I can travel in April and have the whole month of May to hunt MI.

Sounds like a good deal you got going, one of these years I want to start off in March down south and work my way north until May...Hopefully it happens.  :turkey2:

It took retirement before I was able to hunt multiple states on my trips. By looking at your picture with that young child, you're not close to that. Be patient and good things will happen!

Great point, nope retirement is nowhere in my near future lol, guess I'll just learn to be satisfied hunting close to home for a while lol
