Title: Bird Down on Alabama ground!
Post by: turkeykiller22 on April 29, 2012, 09:33:29 PM
We I again used the B-mobile decoy and a DSD hen, Gobbler did the same as the last two that saw it! Came running into it thinking he was fixing to kick some tail! Bird weighed 23 pounds, 11.5 in beard, 3.75 in spurs! Another great morning! God is good!

Nice Job. You have the right name, turkeykiller.
Keep piling them up. When I saw 3.75 " spurs, I thought you shot a pope and young, or what ever they call a world record turkey.

Congrats, that's a nice heavy bird!  I was trying to figure out the spurs myself, ha. If I ever shot a turkey with spurs that long I'd unload the gun on it before picking it up.
