With all the significant events in one's life, birth, death, and everything in between, missing a turkey is such a big deal?  :) :'(

Missing sucks but to me not the funnest part of the hunt the funnesy and most rewarding to me is calling him in and knowing I beat him

I've got a miss or two that still haunt my thoughts.

I have a couple that I can laugh about.  Those involve trees that jumped in front of the gobbler to protect him. :angry9: :TooFunny:

Because it is something we can and should control.  We need to be pro-activ and yell at those trees that jump in the way.  It should be real easy 30 yards away shotgun with 262 pellets at least one of those pellets should hit a killing spot.  The bird is mostly standing still and just waiting for you to shoot it. They do a dance first and we get mermesized by the dance.
