Was wondering about the burn if it was a controlled burn, as I don't know many people to burn in the hardwoods.

it was, I like to burn our place every few years... this is the 3rd time I've burned it and its opening up and the pines are really opening up... I don't burn all the pines at the same time I like some to be thick for the deer and some to be open for the turkeys, some get burned in late winter/early spring and the rest gets burned late fall...
