What is the shot payload in a federal 3.5 in heavy 7's? Was thinking about trying to set up a regular sbe for these.. Any sugguestions on what choke and constriction would be good for a regular sbe?

Thanks for the faq page... still wondering what the payload is in a federal heavy 7's 3.5 in... doesn't say just tells amount of shot in different loads

I cut one open a few weeks ago and it had 429 in the 1 7/8oz load.

you got the mother load..... suppose to have about 407 according to Federal. Lee :icon_thumright:

I must have got the mother load...I counted each one carefully and took them from one container and put them into another marking on a piece of paper every 10.
