Don't know if it's been posted on here on not, but read on a Kentucky Forum where a guy got attacked by a coyote while calling turkeys this season.

He had picture of the two puncture wounds on his upper arm...sounds like the real deal. Said he and his father had just set up and he caught movement out of the corner of his eye and the yote was on him before he could do anything but raise his arm to try and shield his head.

The coyote made a fast get a way before either could get a shot.

Just posting this as a reminder to keep your eyes peeled when trying to imitate lunch for a lot of critters.

I saw one this year too, but couldn't get a shot.  A few years ago I called one in with a box call while turkey hunting.  Did yours come to a call?

My Dad was charged by one several years ago.  It ran at him and wheeled at about 5 yards when it could tell he was a person.  It had just killed a doe that was giving birth and thought he was something that wanted his kill.  It was right at daylight.  Dad got a shot off at him, but it ran off.
