I was working a gobbler that lost interest this morning.  It turns out I was also hunting the same bird as another couple hunters.  No wonder why the bird walked off.  I was about to leave the woods and head to a different spot when I decided to head the other way down a trail and give a quick yelp with the trumpet.  This guy was less than 150 yds when I did that.  One more yelp a little closer and he was spitting and drumming on his way in.  Nailed him at 25 yds.  He doesn't quite score as high as my first bird in Kansas, but it made for a very fun morning.
