Custom. However, it doesn't matter. They work. Rodd

Each and every wooden pot is hand turned and each and every mouth call is hand stretched! Scott is just very, very efficient and has some great call makers on staff.

Their pots are simple, no fancy wood, no detailed art work.. They are hand built and tuned to kill birds no question.

I know their mouth calls are because I have Scott do custom colored tape every time so I can tell them apart quick without looking at the reeds

That fits the bill for a custom call.  The only calls of them I own are 2 diaphragms and they are really sweet calls.  I've heard a lot of good things about their pot calls but I've never heard on in person.

Regardless of what you call them, the customer service is as custom and customer friendly as you can get.  I just purchased a Osage hootn' stick from Scott and from that point on, I will do as much of my turkey hunting business as I can with Scott and Hooks Calls.
