Expectations exceeded!!! Always said I would never spend the money. I am blessed to turkey hunt for roughly 6 weeks during the spring. I figured it was time to break down and spend the money. For anyone on the fence I say go for it. I knew I was betting the best decoy money can buy but wow. Its not just the unbelievable realism but the way its constructed. Just awesome. I bought the jake and now I have to have one of the dsd hens.

I personally have the whole set: The Strutter, Jake, Feeder, Looker, and Submissive. I love DSDs'. Yes, they are a little on the expensive side but well worth the money. They have filled my expectations and more!!!
Unless you completely mistreat them, they're going to give you years and years and years of service.

I got mine last year and had a hen totally pissed off at my feeder hen, is was a awesome sight to see. Can't wait to use it this year along with the jake I purchased. Both look awesome.

Since switching to DSD Turkey decoys I have seen turkeys do things to decoys I've never seen before except on TV. It's nice to have a decoy so life like the turkeys attention is fully focused on either breeding or establishing a pecking order. I have watched and video taped Jakes try for over 45 min. to mount a hen DSD that was knocked over and Toms jump on their backs briefly before the trigger was pulled. If hens in real life peck on each other the way some hens have pecked on my DSD hen, I'm surprised there aren't a lot of one-eyed turkeys running around. They don't all react magically to them but enough do that it's worth it for me to put one out if I can.

Same here. First season I had a boss hen circle several times while purring and then jumped in the air and kicked my DSD twice, till it fell over, then she walked off. Second season three jakes surounded my DSD all puffed up acting like teenagers not knowing what to do. Then one decided he would try it and jumped up on her back, trying to mount her. I guess the scratching noise of the plastic made by his feet made them a little uneasy. They decided to slowly walk off, gobbling the whole time till they disappeared.
