I'm using the Tempest and federals right now.  I would swap it for a .670, mossberg 835 choke.

How many shots thru this choke approx. What did it like?

The only thing I tried through it was Nitro's #7.  I can't give you an exact pellet count, but it had an awesome pattern at 40 yards.  I bought several boxes of federals on a deal, killed three turkeys with them.  That choke with the Nitro's may be just as good as the Tempest and the Federals, but I just don't like to change up.  It has had probably had seven rounds through it.  It looks rough in the picture, but it is in great shape.
