I'm hoping for an answer from Dr. Williams on this, but has anybody else ever seen a blue turkey? There was one running around in southern Athens county, Ohio a couple of years back. It wasn't iridescence, and I wasn't the only one to see it. It was the color of blue slate. I never got a shot, and couldn't get a photo.
Could have be a guennie. Not sure if that is the right spelling.
