Opening weekend was hot and windy here in Kentucky. It sure messed up the birds where I'm hunting. Hardly any gobbling Saturday and they shut up by 9:00am. My father-in-law shoot a bird, but its only because it ran out in front of us. Sunday was even worse. Couple of birds gobbled early, but not another sound after 8:00am. For informational purposes I'm hunting in Jackson Co. Just curious if any of you other Kentucky hunters experienced the same thing? I'm going to hit the woods again this weekend, hoping for better luck!!!
:wagon: My buddy in S.W. KY says the same thing. This weather has changed the entire flocks habits. Sure hop I do good on Mondays opener here in MI.
