Title: Hey Eddie, tried the hevi 13's today

I shot the hevi's today.....awesome!  3.5, 2.25oz, #7's at 40yds......262 inside the 10", 3.5, 2.25oz, mag blend at 40yds......209 inside the 10". Temp was low 70's, dirty barrel.....haven't cleaned barrel in a couple yrs. I bought some 3.5, 2.25oz, #6's locally for $21 today, all this store had was #6 shot, haven't shot the 6's yet.  SBE, 12ga, 650 GT choke.

Those are good numbers Jim. I like the 7's myself, but those Magblends will put a hurting on them too. What kind of pattern were you getting with lead?

Jim, try a .660 with the 7's and a .670 with the mags and you might see better numbers. Are you shooting an sbe 1 or 2? I have a pile of chokes for the 2

Thanks Scott, I'm shootin a sbe 1....I'v got a GT 670, haven't tried it yet. I bought some Hevi 13, 3.5, 2.25, #6's that I'm goin to try tomorrow after a hunt....
