Some of you may know I'm a police officer. A Lieutnenant with the local PD. :policeman:
I lost one of my men today. Complications from a surgical procedure that severely damaged his brain.

He died a short time ago. Forever 41. He leaves a wife, daughter and son behind. He was truly one of the good guys.

Just hate to hear things like this. Our deepest condolences for Officer Eric Willmon and his family. Both my wife Carolyn and I will be praying God forgives his sins and that God himself comforts his family.

Thank you all.
It is a real comfort that I KNOW Eric was right with the Lord. He beat cancer last year and we had discussed salvation.

Thank you all. We buried Eric this morning. It was a very touching funeral.

TONS of police from all over. Wow...it is an impressive sight. The procession was almost 3 miles long.
His family is coping well and while it was a tough week at work, we will also get on with life.

He was a fine man and an excellent cop.

Your good thoughts and prayers meant much to me. Thank you all. May God Bless this Old Gobbler family. :bible:
