Title: Heavyweight #7 chokes - .575 or .585 ???
Post by: jegg on April 17, 2012, 08:06:41 PM
I have a mossberg 20 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with Federal heavyweight #7's.
I have an undertaker that is .585 and a Carlson that is .575 that I am going to try. Does any one have any idea if the #7's like a tighter choke or more open? Any info would help, thanks.

Either of those chokes should give good results with the federal FC.
I have used the 585 in Fed HW FC and gotten in the 140s at 40 . It just depends on the gun you have.
