Wanted to ask you guys which mouth call do you think is the one that you can't do without? I like a lot of rasp so keep that in mind!

My current favorite is a Hooks Executioner. I've been playing with the new Executioner 2, but it hasn't quite taken the top spot away from the original yet.
The executioner II has taken the top spot for me. It runs awesome, I also like hallorans TKO, and the hooks devastator is good as well.
If I only get one to take to the woods it's the executioner II just because it does everything.
Houndstooth Diamond X-3 and Dixie Combo, the Hooks just don't fit me as good as the Houndstooth. I just called in a nice bird today for my 8 yr old daugther with the Dixie Combo.
I can make good calls with Hooks but it take many tries before I get it the way I want.
Houndstooth all the way for me.

I think finding one that fits and a call maker that stretches one to the style you like is most important. Houndstooth to me is the best for me. He makes an excellent mouth call. They work to....I just got done hunting with Lyle and a couple buddies. We ended up with 7 gobblers in 2 days.

Houndstooth 3 reed batwing.
Hard to go wrong with any of Lyle's calls.
Personally I like mine but I am biased myself also haha! But now I got some real special ones got a certain twist to a couple that aren't on the web that are tough! I got to go on a hunt with Savduck and made him a couple to try ask him about those special v-cuts. But all in all every fella that's listed on this thread makes some great mouth calls!

The new V cuts are off the hook. i like em.
I guess I'll be different since I've been using a Cane Creek Mr. Death the last few years successfully. I believe I will be looking into the Hooks Executioner or these Houndstooth calls though.
Two brands I like and use. Uncle Dave's 3 reed 1/2 moon cutter, and U.D. Bat Cut the other is Kokomo's Out Law Hen and Kokomo's Bat Cut. I don't use a mouth calls alot in the woods but I like these alot when I do use my mouth. For cutting, yelping, and cluck and purr, the 1/2 moon cutter is also a good kee call, I like all 4 of these. Most likely tomorrow will be a mouth call and wing bone morning. Cold rain and snow in the forcast for our opening morning here in WV.
