Title: Painting Pretty Boy Junior
Post by: I-55Bandit on April 10, 2012, 10:54:47 AM
Well after having some birds flare off b-mobile in the las tmonth I sold it and bought pretty boy junior. Is there a specific type of paint that holds well to decoys? In the past I have used red sharpie markers but I need a good paint job on this pure white head  :funnyturkey:

I've painted mine with the acrylic paint found at your local Walmart in the hobby section.  I used a color PIC from the Dave Smith Decoys as a pattern and the Toms seem to find them very attactive.

I also painted mine with acrylics. I scuffed up the base with a scotchbrite pad to give it some tooth, wiped it clean with denatured alcohol and then painted over that psychedelic, drag-queen war paint on that beautifully realistic head.

Sheesh, Chinese.  ::) No clue.

Cheers  :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an
