Dang dude I'm sorry to hear that. May I ask what happened to cause that ? I went to the retina specialist this morning and my hunt is still on. Eyes arent improving but they aren't getting any worse either.Thank God. I thought I would go nuts after the last surgery caused me to miss 5 weeks of deer season.
Man that sucks! sorry to hear that hope your surgery goes good
Sorry to hear about your problem.
Hope everything turns out ok.
Sorry to hear that.. I pray that it turns out well. The birds will wait..Godspeed..Mike
I think I would put that off.
wow that stinks!
Man I hate that!I hope you have a speedy recovery!
Hate to hear that! Missing a season would be bad but its for a good reason I guess. I hope things go well for ya!!
POSTPONE IT ..........
I wish I could postpone it - I cant take the pain and discomfort any longer...
:angry9:
I would go insane!
OK I did some serious searches and now I have a call to the doc about options...see if I can get shots....
there seems to be a shot to eliminate nerve cluster over activity which can cause the continued pain...
Crossing my fingers!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck with the shots I hope that works out for you.
hope everything works out for you
:TrainWreck1 hate that, hope the surgery goes well.:
I know how you're feeling man. I had to miss an entire season a few years ago, do to some surgery I had on my arm to repair tendon damage. I actually was afraid to try to shoot my gun for a long time, as I was afraid the punishment from the recoil(870 SPS-T Super Mag) would possibly cause more damage, if it hadn't completely healed yet. Kinda facing the same situation again this year. My wife is suffering from a really severe case of TMJ right now. Her jaw keeps popping out of place and the pain is incredible. Hoping to see a specialist in the next few days, but season opens on Sat., so who knows. Family and Health come first though. Good luck with your surgery.
I nkow how you feel....had my knee surgery done in 2009 after I blew it out tackling a turkey in 2008. WOUnd up only being able to hunt first 3 weeks of season and in rehad the rest of it! :angry9:
I would see if I could hunt laying on my stomach before I gave it up completely. If the doctor allows you to walk, you could set up laying on your stomach, laugh if you want but I have killed 2 birds by doing this because the situation called for it.
God Speed on your recovery though, hope you heal fast.
Well Im still fuming but I wanted the dang surgery in the WINTER sheesh no one ever listens to me...
SO its officical, my Turkey Season is SHOT TO BITS going under the knife the 20th >:(
But I hope to heal and enjoy the rest of the summer by fishing!
Darn the bad luck. I missed deer bow season two years ago with a disconnected shoulder. Life will go one as long a both feet hit the ground every morning. Take care.
Maybe a speedy recovery and you can get a few days in at the end of the season?
Good Luck and God speed to you.
That's a bummer man.. I been there, broke my leg 2 days before turkey season back in 1998. Had to have surgery to pin it back together, missed the whole season.... Then about 5 years ago, my appendix burst, 3 days into deer season... Had to have surgery on that too, missed a bunch of work and hunting... Sometimes things just don't seem fair but hang in there, it could always be worse.
Sorry to hear that, hope the surgery goes well.
Thanks for all the positive responses guys, I will be here living vicoriously through you guys!!!!
