Under what conditions, scenarios, do you use it in the spring?

I use it for a locator call when I run n gun, because both toms and hens will answer it and let you know where they are and what is all there. I use it a lot on henned up birds, it will call any adult hen in for a look, bringing the tom along behind.

A kee kee run like a yelp or cutting is another form for saying I am here, please come here...  depends on the amount of birds around, type of weather and if they been hunted hard  :turkey2:or not....
