My Uncle called me today to tell me there were two big gobblers strutting in his same field that I shot my bird in last week. There were three birds that came in to my Mero trumpet calling last Saturday, I focused on the bird bringing up the rear since he was the strutter. I had to cut at him on my mouth call to get him to break strut and raise his head and then gave him a dose of Hevi #7's. It looks like the other two birds are still there and using the field. I hope to give one of them a dose of Hevi #7's this weekend!
