Title: winchester sx2
Post by: lmbhngr on April 04, 2012, 10:36:02 PM
Got a line on a winchester sx2 12 gauge. Guy claims he shot it 3 times. Has all the chokes, box, etc. Comes in the mosg pattern. 28" barrel truglo sights. $500 bucks. Is that a good deal?? I see they`re 650 on gunbroker.

I bought a brand new SX2 last year for $500.  Gun shop had two that had been marked down many times over the years to half price.  One had a 26" bbl, the other a 28in.  I grabbed the 26" bbl gun.  Shoots very well and patterns great with a JH670 and various turkey loads.  That said, mine was black, so I'd have been willing to pay extra for camo.  A camo SX2 with few shots in like new condition is well worth $500.  I'd buy it.

If it doesn't pattern turkey loads to your satisfaction, you can easily get your money back from someone looking for a good duck gun.  I don't feel you'll have any issues as every INV+ gun I've patterned shot well.
