Killed my 2nd gobbler of the season this morning!Set up in my pop-up blind with decoys in hay field.Heard several birds but only this one gobbler came in to the decoys.It weighed 24 lbs with a 9 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs!

I have always heard that Missouri turkeys are bigger than most states but Tennessee gobblers are bigger than normal also!

9" beard and 3/4" spurs? That's a 2 year old Eastern. And he weighed 24 lb's? You guys must have some good feed available in that area. I'd love to see you get an older bird to see how much he would weigh!! Congrats on a nice gobbler!! :icon_thumright:
