I really like the Millet steel rings that are windage adjustable. They allow you to make most of the adjustments to windage. You can then make the fine adjustments with the scope itself.
Thanks,
Clark
they have nikon btr rings in camo made by warne for nikon
I prefer steel over aluminum. I like the millet too. I don't like the "clamp" style. They are hard to keep the reticles level as you tighten them. However. I am not sure they are needed.
i like steel rings as well. but have used aluminum on several set ups with no problems.
ABSOLUTELY,not worth the hassle.
Take a look at the Burris Signature Zee Rings w/ matte black finish.
They have a composite insert that grips the tube of the scope very well and doesn't require the rings to be lapped.
They also will not leave any marks on the scope if you remove it or decide to sell it later
