Title: Rite of Passage...... Passed!!!!
Post by: chatterbox on March 30, 2012, 06:45:28 PM
Well men, Taking Harrison and his cousin Alex to Vermont on Sunday for their NRA safety course.
Harrison has been doing his studying online, and will be taking an all day course on Sunday, April 1st with Alex.
This is a big step as you guys know. We will be leaving our house at 4:30 in the morning, and not getting back till around 8 that night.
I know he's ready. He's been hunting now with his own shotgun and rifle for the last 2 years, and is very safe with his firearms.
If you could just send out a little good luck prayer for these two good kids, it would be super appriciated!

Thanks,

Mike

Good Luck to both Harrison and Alex and hats off to you Mike for being there to mentor the young man.  You should be very proud!

Good luck to both the young men.  I'm sure they won't need it though.   It sounds like their going to make their own luck by being prepared.

Well, after a long, long day, both boys passed thier written exams, and did very well on thier practical exams!!!!!!
They proved they are safe with guns, and understood safe hunting practices!
Very, very proud of both of them!!!!!

Good deal.  I figured with all the work they put into it they would get "lucky"

Congrats to both!
