tired of waiting for the season to start here in va, heading to georgia friday morning to hunt the weekend on some private land around ft. stewert....cant take listening to all these birds gobbling every morning around here.
They are gobbling here! I don't hunt near that area but I've hunted every morning since opening morning (Thanks to Vacation) and I've heard birds every day so far! Hope tomorrow doesn't let me down! Good luck when you come down! Nothing like these GA birds!

Just left central ga. Only hunted 1.5 days due to an unforeseen incident but they were henned up real bad.
They were talking a little bit on the tree but very little on the ground.

They are hit an miss early. They are gobbling some morning and some times not. They are henned up but lose the hens quickly. Been getting birds later in morning and afternoons. Good luck.
