Title: Turkey teams?

Okay, I am new here and have a question. What are the turkey teams about? I see them on nearly ever thread and think its pretty cool. Is there a contest, do y'all hunt together, or live in the same area? Help a new guy out. Thanks

First,let me say welcome. Next year you will have a chance to join a team.Usually around Feb. or March.  Its all for fun. Once things get rolling you will start seeing more and more friendly smack talk.But everyone knows that the team to beat is the "Crusaders" The only reason we havent won in the past is we only register half our birds. Welcome on board, and let me correct my two friends: Roaring 20's is the team to beat this year. We got some outstanding turkey assasin's who are laying the smack down on some gobblers noggins.
