this past weekend was filled with alot of luck as this old wore out turkey hunter stumbled across not 1,but 2 birds that didn"t know what they were getting into
I"ll post some pic's tomorrow,I have them posted in the Roaring 20's Team kill board
both birds were 2 yr olds
1st bird 9-1/2" beard 1" spurs

2nd bird 10-3/4" beard 3/4" spur 13/16" spur

another thing that was different with this hunt,I decided back at the start of the season to hunt this season "old school" both birds were taken with 3" Magnum Federal 20ga #6 LEAD shells
who would have believed that they still work? ;)
