Title: noise from my gobbler lounge
Post by: ncquackersmacker on March 26, 2012, 10:11:11 PM
I was hunting in my gobbler lounge this past week in Fla and noticed that the seat seemed to be a lot louder than I remembered.  The noise seemed to be from the fabric rubbing on the frame as I shifted in the seat.  Has anyone else noticed this in their seat?  I am thinking that maybe it is a result of the fabric aging.

See  a previous post about this problem.  I solved my noise problem as was suggested in the earlier posting by pouring some baby powder down the sleeves where the fabric wraps around the metal tube frame.  Eliminated  the noise and smells good too.

Gold bond works as well.

I noticed that last weekend as well.  It was fine last year, but it seemed that after being stored for most of a year, the noise started.  Will try the powder thing.
