This pattern was witnessed by me and it was a tape measured 40yds from tip of choke to target. This was shot with the Pure Gold .670 choke that I gave him.
This is the best I have seen this load do in person. I wrote world record on it. LOL!
Mark is pretty glad I talked him into a Moss 835. It has a 24" barrel and is camo. He loves it.

That pattern is something else for that light of a payload. :OGturkeyhead:
Myles,
That pattern right there is better than my 361 that I shot with the 3.5" 2.25oz #7. I told him that. But he is new to this Hevi-13 stuff. But he is really in to turkey hunting now.
And I will guarantee on my life that pattern is legit.

I don't doubt it at all.
:z-winnersmiley:
And the funny thing is that choke wouldn't shoot 3.5" Hevi-13 2.25oz #6 loads worth a hoot out of my 835. But I never tried any of those loads with the Pure Gold. That was actually some of my Hevi-13 loads I gave him to use. He's going to hunt with that combo this season.
I think there's like 360 to 370 shot in that load. That's like over 63% in the 10" at 40yds.
Ok according to Hal there is approx 364 shot in that load.
235 divided by 364 is 64.5% in the 10" at 40yds. That is phenominal! I never would have dreamed it to be possible had I not seen it.
And I'll add I did the counting and drew the 10" circle using my 10" glass circle I have.
Go figure . This stuff gives me an headack trying to figure out
And that was exactly 120 ft on my 200ft Champion tape measure I have. That's why I know it's legit.
What's the lot number lol
Nice pattern! but that gobbler drawing could use a little help. :toothy12:
OK OK OK . We beleave you but that turkey looks like a goose . :TooFunny:
I don't know the lot # for sure because I had 2 different lot number of these shells. I can tell you one of them. I don't know the other one. Mark has the others but he may have the same number and I remeber there was 2 lots.

Ok guys I did some figuring. There is 169 shot in that cardboard outside of that 10" circle. And of course that's not counting the shot that didn't actually hit the cardboard which I know there were some but how many we don't know. So if we add the 169 to the 235 we get 404. So if the best case scenario happened and all did hit the cardboard we are looking at 58% of the pattern in the 10" at 40yds. Now that makes more sense to me. And it probably was more like 55%.
