here's a pic of my gun. how do I tell if I have the max gobbler 870 or if someones just changed the stock? I bought it used from a pawn shop. Thanks
First off the barrel is a dead give away plus add the camo and the stock would lead me to believe that it is a true Max Gobbler 870.
That is awesome either way!!!!!
Looks like a true MG to me. The MG has the high rise sights(no rib) and the only ones I've seen were the orginal Realtree AP, like that one. They also had the old style forearm, like that one. You could probably sell it pretty easily if you aren't partial to it yet. ;)
Why did they ever stop making those lol
You gotta awesome looking turkey gun is what you got. :icon_thumright:

I've been wondering the same thing. I bought one brand new last year online. At the time I had no idea they had been discontinued. I wish I had bought 4 or 5 of them, since I could have apparently doubled my money pretty quick. Hah
:z-winnersmiley: Rock n Roll :funnyturkey:
how much could someone sell one for?
well when i bought mine from remington in 2008 i paid 799.00 for it,,,,,,
Like Bird said that is a true MG I bought mine in 07 or 08 can't remember, I paid 600.00 for mine..
I bought it used last spring for 699 and it also came with a new in box slug barrel with it. So this gun is either a 07 or 08 model?
