What grit sand paper do you use to scratch your glass playing surface?

When I don't use bead blasted glass, I use a dremel tool with a diamond burr bit.  You can quickly cut through the slick glass surface and can condition as large or small a space without all of the sweat and rubbing.  If you have the tools, it makes it much easier.  You can go back with 120 grit sandpaper after breaking through the slick surface and condition for playing.
