Title: Found a red dot. Anyone use these??
Post by: joffutt1 on March 24, 2012, 11:49:13 AM
This red dot appears to be sweet! It it built with a metal jacket around it and is being sold for $60 at our shop with a QUick Disconnect, 1 MOA dot, brightness settings and 4 reticles. Anyone use them before?! They look and feel awesome!!

This one has a lifetime warranty and is built MUCH better with an aluminum jacket. Also says it is warranted for shock up to a .50 cal.

If it doesn't work then I get my money back. Can't beat that. Makes the quick shot look like a toy.

Well sounds like you have made up your mind SO BUY IT!!!
By the way they said the same thing about Tru Glo, and they do not hold up, to regular  turkey loads 3.5 or NItros

.50 caliber ??? That means no 12 gauge or 20. So slap that baby on your 28 gauge  or .410 and give it a whirl.
By the way the specs don't list the weight. That is very important.
A QD feature is neat but I would not use it much.

Having shot both Muellers and Truglo's, I can ASSURE you that the Mueller is no toy. They can handle the vicious pounding of a 3-3.5 Magnum 12 ga. round. I haven't found that to be true with Truglos.
That being said, it is your money and your choice. Just be aware lots of guys have had very good luck with Mueller Quick Shots on here.

Sorry. My mistake. I rechecked and looked at the wrong place. It says shockproof and I talked to Sight Mark on the phone and they said it would be fine and if not they would replace it.

I have the FF3 but in that price range I would go with the proven Mueller also.
