I got to go hunting this morning for the first time since last Saturday. I heard a few gobbles on the roost and set up on a field edge between the gobbler and where I thought the hens would be. 3 longbeards pitched out in the field and made thier way toward me. I could hear hens behind me. They all met up right in front of me and this bird gave me a 35 yard shot. He had a 9 3/4" beard and 1 1/16" right and 1" left spurs. He looks rough in the picture due to him flopping in a wet field thanks to the past 2 days of rain we have had.
