Title: Browning Gold and Stardot
Post by: clucknpurr on March 22, 2012, 03:42:31 PM
I have a Browing Gold with a stardot choke.  I haven't shot it yet.  Just wondering if anyone has.

Have a Browning BPS and a Stardot in .668. It shoots ok but doesn't shoot nearly as well as my kicks or sumtoy.

I have a SX3 and SX2 with the same bore.  I also pattern a bit with a Gold as well.  The Star Dot is a great choke in all three with both hevi shot and lead.  I really like the Star Dot and the Jellyhead .670 in those guns.  Depending on the gun one slightly edges the other, but they are really close.  I killed some toms with the SX3 SD combo last year with both lead and hevi loads.
