I have shot both the "Gobble-Stopper" the 170 series and the "Gobble-Stopper Xtreme" the 170X series. Of the 2,  the "Xtreme" is the better choke tube in my experience but both are rated for Hevi-Shot.

Thanks,
Clark

The one I got was the Gobblestopper Extreme.  Cabelas had then for $17.99 and they come with the plastic snap on sights.

I am running one in my 870 20 gauge and am putting up 95 average in the 10" at 40 with H13 6's. I like it for a good hunting choke. Very good hunting patterns from the ones I have seen. Not big numbers, but good even 20" patterns.

That is a buy. The Gobble-Stopper Xtreme is pretty much a duplicate of the Mark Bansner designed turkey choke that has become a very hot item and very hard to find today.

It's a very good choke tube. You should see some good even patterns with it.

Thanks,
Clark

My buddy picked one up for his rem 870 sm, just to shoot it because it was cheap.  I think he was in the 140 range with mag blends at 40. It wasnt a big number pattern but at 40 yards that bird was gonna be DRT.

i shot one in my old 3in 870 with the #6 win red shells and though i never patterened in a circle it use to pattern well on a live bird. i still got the choke in the gun cabnet and have since turned the gun into my rabbit/squirrel gun. my new 870sm i shoot a jellyhead

I have a .679 Gobble Stopper for my 835 that throws great patterns with 3" or 3.5" #6's
