All naked Cherry Box from wood provided by the hunter in Ohio and harvested a little over 1 year ago from his family's farm. I was able to get it dried, but the block of wood had its challenges with sap wood and a lot of dark inclusions that you can still see that in many areas weakened the wood. In the end I managed to carve out what I needed and the whole call is from the original block. This was THE MOST difficult call I have ever tuned...being all cherry it left little flexibility in varying density, but through a slow process it turned to be stuffed full of hen feathers! The wood burning is all at the hunter request, morels, buckeye leaf & fruit and a pair of gobblers out cruising and feeding on insects. Sure hope he likes it and teaches those mid-Ohio gobblers a lesson next month.

That is SWWEEEEEETT.
Scott, another stunning call!!!
I think the ones that are the hardest to tune are always the most gratifying in the end. Great Job.
