It has been a hectic last few days. Two trumpets and four friction calls done and headed out the door. Also had to turn a ton of strikers ( which I DESPISE doing). So busy and in a hurry that I didnt take photos of any of them except this one. This kid just killed his first gobbler two weeks ago and the father wanted a call made to celebrate. The thing is, the kid is suffering with Type 1 diabetes, and the guy who called the bird in ( also in the picture) is also a Type 1 diabetic

Why all the hatred towards turning strikers? I'm not a call maker so I don't know, it seems like it would be the easiest to do.

They are a pain in the teeth to deal with. I can turn one out in 10 minutes, just HATE doing them

I think I despise turning strikers as much as you do...wish it only took me 10 minutes to turn one, though! Good looking pot too :icon_thumright:
