Post by: INDY on March 21, 2012, 10:43:58 PM
INDIANA'S  TURKEY SEASON STARTS ON APRIL 25.   THIS  IS  A HOT  SPRING,  WERE  ABOUT   3 OR  4  WEEKS  AHEAD  OF  NORMAL.  DO YOU  THINK  IT  WILL  HAVE  AN  EFFECT  ON  THE  TURKEY  SEASON ?

Gotta a feeling the skeeters & ticks are gonna be pretty bad.But I'm sure it's gonna cool down again.

Look down a little ways - there is a thread about this.  The warm weather shouldn't affect the "breeding" schedule of the turkeys however cover and bugs might be a little thicker.  Thicker cover means harder to see birds and also makes it harder to hear them and for them to hear you.  Good luck guys!
