Title: Christian County Kentucky Turkey Hunting
Post by: SKFOOTER on March 21, 2012, 01:41:38 PM
Can someone tell me about the turkey population in Christian County, Kentucky just northeast of Hopkinsville??   In particular, the area around Froghop Road and Herring Mill Road???  Thanks.

According to KY telecheck there were 390 turkeys checked last spring in Christian County.  327 gobblers, 60 jakes, 3 hens.   As good as Kentucky's telecheck is it doesn't list the closest intersection where the birds were shot.  You can go on and see the names of the hunters who checked them.  390 is a good number.  Have fun.
