Been doin some playing around with some loads and chokes and think I found one that I like. Do you guys think its good or try to put more in the 10". There is 567 pellets in this load and with 479 total in the 20. That puts 84% of the load in the 20" circle. Looking for some input.
Thanks Roy

Philippe. This was posted because i had a question about this pattern and if was an acceptable hunting pattern in the eyes of OG members. It seems everyone is chasing 300+ numbers and I for one am not. The pattern forum is for pics only. I was after input that is why i posted it here. I've posted many patterns in the pattern foum. Thank you but i knew what i was doing.
Roy

Then i guess we don't need a pattern section...........
That is a great pattern Roy, Congrats!!!
I'd hunt with that pattern all day, no matter what section it was posted in...... ;)
Seriously? Yes I would hunt with that.
I wouldn't even ask I would just kill turkeys with it.
Considering the distance, the type of shot involved, and the pattern thrown, how could it NOT be huntable???????
Heck yeah I'd hunt with it! What lot # was that?
That's a sweet pattern! I would hunt with that all day!
Roy I got high 200's with #8 TSS in the 10" at 40' from 2 oz 3" load.
Correction: the 308 count was from #9 TSS in 10 gauge 3.5" 2.5 oz.
I can't find the numbers in the first load.
Also got 281 #8 tss in 10 gauge
I tried this same blended load through a Sumtoy Buckshot choke in .682 expecting it to tighten it up a bit but wow. 322 in a 10" and 144 in a 20". Super tight 10 numbers but the 20 was really spotty. I'm definatly sticking with the original .682.

Roy, that pattern is HORRIBLE!! :o Just kidding! :toothy12: True KILLER pattern right there bud! AWESOME 20" too. Ignore the peanut gallery too. The patern forum is for specs, pics and loads, for info purposes first. We get what you were asking. :icon_thumright:
I'd be very happy with that pattern, hopefully mine will look close to that come Sat. when I will be shootin the new Rem. SM for the first time....
Thanks for the pics I'm going to try that duplex also.
No good at all.... Send me the rest of the shells you made up and I will properly dispose of them in my benelli..... Seriously I would adjust the poi and and then not change a thing... Nice job
I probably wouldn't hunt knats with it, but it would probably work really well on horse flys :D
I guess so,if I just had to
just kidding,awesome pattern
