Title: mossberg 935...24"or28" barrel

when i purchased my 935 it was the turkey / waterfowl edition...came with a 28 and a 24" barrel is there any other difference in these barrels rather than just the length been using the 28 but thinkin bout just tryin that 24" barrel...?

Can't answer other than to say the shorter barrel will be easier to carry around, easier to maneuver on a bird.  You will get great patterns out of either.

A 24" barrel will shoot exceptional patterns.  I myself have always liked longer barrels.  But that is what I was raised on shooting.  But yesterday I witnessed one of the best patterns I have seen with my buddy Mark and his 24" barrel 835 and the Pure Gold .670 choke I gave him shooting some of my Hevi-13 3" Hevi-13 1.75oz #6 loads that I gave him.  234 shot in a 10" at a taped 40yds.  It don't get no better than that.

would everything internal in the barrel be the same is just the length the difference

Both barrels are going to be .775 overbored barrels which are the same as a 10GA bore.  The 835 bore is .775 as well.
