Any of you guys have a Ruger LC9? What do you like about? What do you not? I'm not a fan of a polymer pistol but it's for my wife and she thinks my sig 238 is too small. I've had several ruger semis in the past and wasn't satisfied with any of them. Just looking for some feedback on the LC9. Thanks in advance.
I personally do not have one but a guy at work does. I shot his and did not care for it! Just did not feel rite. I do like the compact 38 relvolver that Ruger makes
I bought my wife a Tarus 738 and its great! but keep in mind some women have a hard time shooting a semi auto vs a revolver it depends on how familiar she is to shooting but if she isnt now she can be with practice.
I have a Kel-Tec PF9 which is what the Ruger LC9 is formed after. I gonna be honest, this is the most painful shooting gun I have. It's small size seems like it would be easy to handle but it is like a tazmanian DEVIL when you pull the trigger. I would advise you go somewhere and let your wife shoot it before you buy it. My wife shot it once and will not touch it again.
Go get her a Glock 26. That is what my wife has and LOVES it.
Glock 19 gets my vote.
They are very concealable but they are not a range gun! Tends to have quite a bit of muzzel jump when shooting one handed. Really too small to shoot two handed comfortably. Has a decent 3 dot site system for a small gun and fairly accurate at 7 yards. Bottom line...for the price ($340.00 mine) it's a decent carry and conceal firearm.
If I had to do it over again I would invest a little more money and got the model with the Crimson Trace laser grip. Just my 2 cents.
I have one and like it very well . I have small hands and it fits me well .It is very accurate as well. I guess if there is only one thing I dont like its a little heavy.
LC9 is one awesome pistol for a pocket pistol.
