Title: Thanks to the call makers.
Post by: MossbergMike on March 17, 2012, 08:24:09 PM
So being fairly new to turkey hunting and all its intricacy's.  I  find my self mesmerized by the beauty and art work put into some of the calls i have seen on here. I know from reading the posts and chatting to a few of the makers that it is a tedious task with many hard hours spent  to perfect these calls.  And I just want to give my personal thanks for the hard work and time you put into your craft. :thanks:

Mike, let me be the first to say thank you very much.  It makes a big diference to get noticed once in a while.   I don't build to get noticed, but it feels good when it happens...although, not as good as when a customer sends a picture with a gobbler and the call you built for them :fud:

X2 nothing quite like opening an email with a pic and some kind words

While I build diaphragm calls and they ain't pretty I to say thanks for the kind words and yes these fellas who build wooden calls are true artisans.

When I open up the OG webpage, I go right to the call section to see what new.  I love the way they use different woods and still make them sound like turkeys.  Thanks and keep it up.
