Today i made a day of scouting. I left at 6 am and i am just now getting home at 5 pm. Overall it was a great day. I started off at one of my hunting clubs to just listen. Stopped at two different places and heard 9 birds. They were on fire this morning! I left the birds still hammering away at 745 to meet my buddy to go scout some public land. We located 3 different birds and found several other areas when they have been strutting. Also saw 5 or 6 hens. We left there around 1pm and grabbed some lunch then headed out to another of my clubs and saw 6 more gobblers. I dont think I could have asked for a better day. Hope the birds stick around.
