Anybody getting to hunt yet? Alabama opened today, but my wife had surgery yesterday so I won't get to make it down there this year :begging:
I'm hunting in TX next week, hope to get us on the board.
I hope to be hunting Fort Campbell this weekend. Maybe I will get lucky.....

I posted my pics in the kill thread I apologize for the quality of them. I will do better next time....Oh yeah I will try to have a better pic of myself too. I was worn out and it showed..LOL!!
I took my son last weekend on his first juvy turkey hunt. He is eight yrs old. We heard several different turkeys and he was pumped.
He was shooting my gun but with 2 3/4 in high brass 6's which were good to about 35 yrds (140 pellets in a sheet of notebook paper).
Anyway, we finally got one to come in to 30 steps but he missed. He was so excited though he really didn't care that he missed. He is ready to go back!!!
Now looking for a 20 gauge for him to shoot.
Wish he could of got him.....Glad he still had a good time.
