Shoulder surgery is terrible!!   I had to have my rotator cuff fixed back in 2009 with 5 screws put in.  I just about done it before turkey season in March that year and thank God I didn't.  Thats was the was ruff to go through....it took a long time to get over it.  I couldn't even think about holding a gun or anything for 6 months.  But you may get over yours quicker...I sure hope and pray so...so you don't miss your season!

God Bless

I hope you fair better than I did. I totalled my shoulder about 2 years ago right before the season. I hunted but couldn't lift my gun. I called in a few nice birds but never got a shot. I am just starting to be able to pull my bow back again. It still hurts to lift weights but it is getting stronger slowly. Good luck.
