Title: Go ahead and make your scoring paper now
Post by: sugarray on February 23, 2011, 01:47:59 PM
On all 3 of my birds I just forgot to have a piece of paper ready.  I already have one made and will make another before I head out to SD.

Just go ahead and make it out.  Red Dawn Raiders at the top then add in places for beard, spurs, weight and total.  Date as well.  If it has more than 1 beard, you can add that later.  Use a black sharpie or similar pen so it is visible.

Just something I forgot last year and wanted to post up.

One option is to print a copy of the banner (s) to place your measurements on. There is a joke on this about following directions. Do you catch it. :TooFunny:

;D I've got the paper on the hood of the car with the markie, Turkey is hung, and my buddy says 24# 17oz, so I write it down. Then I go back to the bird, look at the scale and the 7 is a 4. I said you dumbas, there's only 16oz in a pound. Then he says, why did you write it down if your so smart. :TooFunny:
