Was just curious if anybody has tried the hevi shot duck loads in 3" 1 1/4 oz. #7.5's

I have but have no numbers on them . Lots of shot in a pattern. Th eold ones were supposedly 12 g/cc but that may be debatable. Will they kill turkeys at normal ranges? Uh-huh,yep,they will. Not my first choice however.

Kids and I both killed a couple w/them yrs back. More speed than you need but effective in my guns to 35 yds before pattern opened up too much for turkeys for me. I liked the duck loads better than their turkey loads and the old remington hevi duck better yet. Then I started handloading.

I think they are the same or very similar to the Dunns loads from a couple years ago, someone please correct me if I am wrong.  If so, they  shot pretty good for me out of 870.  I think slicky gets good numbers with them out of a Charles Daly.
