Title: The pollen in the south is killing me
Post by: Beretta686 on March 13, 2012, 10:23:15 PM
Spring has arrived and it has come way too early. I give myself allergy shots each week and last week they were doing nothing. Thursday the pollen was so bad everything had a yellow dust of pollen on it and man it worked me over. Friday I broke my own rule with my dr. Friend and called him for help. With youth hunt the next day there was no way I could take my hunter. Went by his office and still did no good. The weekend was horrible.

Today I called my allergist in Birmingham and tomorrow I will be in his office. I will be a new person when the season opens Thursday. He has worked his magic a couple of years ago when it hit me hard like this. My mother and I have used him since he was a med student 25 years ago. He laughs when he sees me and calls me wild thing. He knows it's turkey season. Iwill take him a few smoked turkey breasts when I go up there in a couple of weeks to get my new allergy serum.

I am looking forward to 3 shots tomorrow. Lol

Get you some honey that is locally grown. That will help you acclimate to pollen season a little bit at least.

Looks like someone has been eating yellow cheetos on the deck behind the house.

It's been kicking my butt too!

Know what you mean!!

Knocked me on my rear yesterday. Woke up dizzy due to fluid in my left ear, sore throat, and just plain feeling awful.

Better today after taking my medicine, but not 100% yet!!

Hope you got it taken care of today!!

God Bless,
David B.

Dr. Corney worked his magic and I killed a bird opening morning. My wife smoked one of the turkey breasts for him last night and I sent it to him with my sister today.

He requested another smoked turkey breast
